HODL FM NEWS Editorial Policy
HODL FM News covers cryptocurrency, blockchain, AI, and the wider Web3 world. This policy lays out how we work, the standards we hold ourselves to, and what readers can expect from anything published under our name.
It covers everything we publish: news, market analysis, reviews, explainers, and sponsored placements.
1. What we're trying to do
Our job is simple to state and harder to do well: cover crypto and Web3 in a way that's accurate, easy to follow, and actually useful. In practice that means:
- Reporting on digital assets and blockchain infrastructure while things are still developing, not after the fact
- Writing educational material that helps people make their own calls, rather than telling them what to think
- Looking at projects and products critically, even the ones everyone's talking about
- Making complicated financial and technical subjects readable without dumbing them down
We try to give equal attention to the big, established names and the smaller projects worth watching, whatever's actually relevant to readers at the time.
2. Editorial team and authorship
Every piece that runs on HODL FM News is written or reviewed by a member of our editorial team — people with genuine backgrounds in crypto journalism, finance, blockchain development, or technology reporting. Bylines and bios are available on the site, so readers can see who's behind the work and why they're qualified to write it.

3. Keeping editorial and commercial separate
Nobody outside the editorial team, not advertisers, not sponsors, not the projects we write about , gets a say in what we publish or how we cover it. Story angles, analysis, and conclusions: all of that stays in-house.
When we do have a commercial relationship with something we're covering, a paid review, a sponsored piece, a promo placement, we say so, clearly, per Section 5 below.
4. Getting it right (and fixing it when we don't)
We check facts before anything goes live. That's not negotiable.
When we get something wrong, we fix it and we say so. Any substantive correction gets an editor's note that readers can actually see what changed and when. We don't quietly edit factual claims after publication; updates are timestamped and marked in the piece itself.
If you spot an error, tell us. Use the contact info in Section 9, we read every substantiated correction request and try to turn them around quickly.
5. Sponsored content, affiliate links, and disclosure
You'll occasionally see sponsored content or affiliate links on HODL FM News, mostly in Reviews and Learn.
A few principles we hold firmly:
- Anything sponsored is labeled "Sponsored" clearly, from the top of the article
- Affiliate relationships are disclosed within the relevant content
- Sponsorship never buys editorial outcomes if a product falls short, the review reflects that, paid placement or not
- We do not accept payment in exchange for guaranteed positive coverage
We would rather decline a sponsorship that doesn't align with our standards than put reader trust at risk.
What we don’t do
To protect the integrity of the publication and the trust of our readers, HODL FM News does not:
- Dress up promotional material as independent reporting
- Repeat unverified claims about a project's legitimacy without checking them ourselves
- Trade favorable coverage for money, access, or anything else
- Promote anything we have a real reason to believe is fraudulent or deceptive

- Gaming: News and analysis on blockchain-based games, play-to-earn models, and gaming infrastructure built on Web3.

AI & Tech
Coverage of artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and their intersection with the crypto and Web3 industries.

A weekly roundup of the most significant developments in the industry, including top gainers and losers, designed to give readers a concise overview of the week's market activity.
8. Where AI fits in
We use AI tools, but only to support the work, not to replace it; research assistance, summarizing data, and an early pass on fact-checking. AI doesn't write our articles and it doesn't form our opinions.
Everything that publishes has been through human judgment and editorial review by our team. We disclose AI-assisted tools where relevant, in line with industry standards and platform requirements.
